Welcome to my blog!

What is this blog about?

This will not be a blog – I’m a storyteller. I’m a wife, a mother of one, a businesswoman, a carpenter, a jewelry maker, a professional cleaner, an experienced cook, an academic writer, a freestyle writer, a nature-lover, a movie-loving freak and the list just goes on and on …

The time has finally come to share my stories, my wild experiences with the world. I will express my thoughts, feelings, ideas, struggles, won battles, recipes, art & crafts ideas and much more – random things crossing my mind. Some posts will be emotional, others will be wild, and others will just – hopefully – find that power within to uplift, to encourage, to heal by using the simplest of words. Brokenness comes in thousands of shapes, but sometimes fixing ourselves is simpler than we think. It can be hard too – and luckily, or sadly, I have experienced both extremes. I’m sure others have too.

I intend to write about everything and anything, to offer a pleasant reading for:

  • Young women who are about to become mothers
  • Mothers who face various challenges and feel lost
  • People who fancy reading true stories from someone else’s lives – they may quickly identify themselves with many of these
  • Stay-at-home moms who are looking for new business ideas in 2022 – ones that actually work and do not depend on selling products 12 hours per day only to earn minimum wage
  • Art lovers
  • People who love to read
  • Experienced mothers who had other challenges in life, but feel the need to connect with an active community of women, mothers and fellow fighters

About Creative Mom

There’s no simple way to describe my life. I’m happily married, I have one child, and I am successful.

However, things weren’t always this simple. I grew up nearly poor – my family was managing, but never abundantly. We had a home and all the basics, but no luxury.

Do I have luxury? I could say I do, but I never believed in selfishly gathering objects – they take up space, offer an illusion of happiness, but you will still be seeking happiness differently. I do not buy anything expensive, unless it’s a worthy cause. For example, I will use a brand new laptop, because I love writing and connecting online. I will probably refuse buying a new car – an older car is still roadworthy, and takes me everywhere I need to be.

I had many struggles though. My child was born safely, but the first months of life nearly ended in tragedy.

I started businesses that later failed. I also started businesses that kept on growing to this very day.

I messed up recipes for many years, but the past 3-4 years I’ve really gathered so much experience in the kitchen. All my friends consider my cooking to be restaurant-quality, but I keep telling them it’s not cooking for a profit, and that I do not necessarily fancy the idea of owning a restaurant.

What I do fancy is encouraging women. So much hurt and desperation among women of all ages, and so few people dare to address it properly.

I will attempt to write here as much as I can, to post daily when I can, or at least weekly when I’m busier. I want to be there for you – for my future community of fellow moms, mompreneurs, art lovers, women, young girls getting married within the next 6 months. I care about all of you!
